The field of angiogenesis has evolved from theory to practical clinical application. The initial successes promise that this area will become very
important for cancer patient care. There are many questions that will need evaluation, and EORTC is looking forward to these developments.

COURSE OBJECTIVE This course will provide oncologists with a background to understand the basic science and the clinical achievements in angiogenesis related cancer therapy. This is intended to be a practice oriented course, helping the clinician in decision making processes. Participants will have an opportunity to discuss patient case studies and interact with experts as well as receive updates on the latest data and advances in this field.
